From the reviews on this hotel and any other in Greece in fact I was expecting the worst. The people who wrote bad reviews were expecting a luxurious hotel for little money I think - If you pay budget prices then you should expect at worst a budget hotel. This was not however, the hotel was very impressive for the price. The staff were very freindly and helpful, the rooms were very new and cleaned extremely efficiently - we only went down to the pool for an hour or so and if I came back to my room it was blitzed. The food was at worst tasty and well cooked, I don't know why people complain about the food because it was local tasty food, If you're expecting fish and chipsor general cholestorel inducing food then you will be dissapointed as only tasty nutritious food is available. The free beer is lager which I obviously don't drink but there is weizen beer there which you pay for, but i'd rather pay for quality beer than have free lager. The free red wine was very drinkable. Local restaurants offer very tasty food - you must try a greek salad as I did. Views were idyllic.

Having read previous reviews after we booked this hotel we were a bit wary before our arrival. However we found this hotel to be extremely clean, the entrance and lobby is attractive and the reception staff pleasant and helpful. The room that we had was certainly on par for a 4 star hotel as this was advertised.
The food on the whole was pleasant, well cooked and presented and as mentioned in another review, was fresh and wholesome, certainly not frozen or mass produced factory mush. I could have taken issue with this, but my package was described as "local wines, beer and liquers, all soft drinks, tea and coffee". This is what was available, other alcoholic drinks were International Brands for which one would pay extra at any all inclusive hotel. I would reccomend the local "champagne" for only 12 euros this was as good as any medium price french. All in all a wonderful holiday, and finally may I advise any traveller that no matter which hotel you stay in, should you have problems ask for the manager / owner and politely explain your problem. You may just be suprised how many apprieciatte being told faults and will talk to guests to improve things. |

We have just returned from a week AI at this hotel. We found the hotel spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly and helpful, generally of a very high standard.
A special mention to Marie who works on reception, in the shop and generally helps with anything you need, she is a star. We were in the main building and the room was really good. Beautiful views over the bay, roomy and very clean. There is a lot of other nationalities staying here which I found interesting to break some of the stereotypes often associated with holidays. If you are looking for a relaxing break away this is a good hotel for that. Really enjoyed our time here. |
